Hi there.

I am using macbook pro with Lion 10.7.5 updated from 10.7.4. I also using extended VGA monitor DELL U2410. It can be rotate vertical and horizontal for my programming purpose.

The problem is, after i update from 10.7.4 to 10.7.5, the option for Rotation at the extended monitor gone! it should be there below the Refresh Rate option on 10.7.4.

Please help me.

Thanks

Update: I have not had this problem since I removed SwitchResX.

I had installed it trying to fix the problem.

I noticed a locked file. (It's been a few weeks, but I think it was the windowserver.plist.) I think I was unable to delete it to perform the 'fix' mentioned early in thread. I had done it a few times previously, so I'm not sure what was different this time. The username that was locking the file was something I didn't recognize.

Anyway, after removing SwitchResX, I was able to delete the file and do the fix. Since this time, I've rebooted a number of times and the problem has not returned. It used to happen at every reboot.

Nevermind. It just happened...
