You could simply delete your iCloud account from your 4s. I think it would then ask you if you want to keep the data on your 4s. since you're giving your phone to your daughter, you'll probably want to hit yes. Also this will only affect data on the 4s, so your contacts list and pictures on your 5s should be safe.

I see that many people offer iTunes as the tool, in fact, I prefer iCloud which can transfer contacts from old iPhone to new iPhone without PC as long as there is WI-FI. The first thing you are required to do is backup the old iPhone contacts to iCloud and then sync them to the new one, the details are as follow:

1. Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and tap on Back Up now button. you need to wait the backup process.

2.After the backup is complete, check the Last Backup time to ensure that your backup has been successful.

3.Now turn off your old iPhone and turn on your new iPhone.

4.In new iPhone, choose “Restore from iCloud Backup,” tap next, and enter your Apple ID and password.

Worked for me. Thanks!!!

Yeah, the method is workable. At least, I have tried many solutions provided on internet, and this is useful. Thanks!

I have received a new iPhone for work which is already synched with my work contacts, mail etc. I am trying to figure out the best way to add my contacts from my old iPhone to the new iPhone without overriding the new information. Is there a way to transfer my old iPhone information to my current Outlook and then synch to new phone or what would the pros suggest?
I'd love to be able to transfer all my information, photos, etc but contacts are the thing I am most concerned about. If it makes a difference the new phone is on AT&T service and the old phone was on Verizon. Thanks! KG
