iMac not booting
my 1y-old iMac do not start anymore after installing server app: 'mountain lion server'; is there any shortcut as "F2"-button for PCs to achieve booting?
iMac, safari, os-update, ... doesn't work

Well, sort of.
what does it mean?
ok. i got it... but none of these shortcuts help?
now i'm having a grey background with two changing white display (in saying start your bluetooth mouse and keyboard...). and kindly: what now?
I had hoped the Apple Support Doc behind the link was self-explanatory, containing start-up options for resetting certain sections and being able to boot, then going into analytics and fixing - each relevant, more complex procedure explained by another link leading further...
If nothing works, boot the Mac from a bootable DVD or external drive. If nothing else, re-install Mountain Lion, first without the server extension.
well, what happens if you follow those minimal instructions?
many thx, lousyfool. i am going to find out...
