Can anyone tell me how to reinstall google maps. Apple version is a disgrace !!

You cannot.
Maybe Google will release an app for it at some point.

Use Google and search on how to downgrade, which is not supported by Apple, or wait until Google submits their Google Maps app for the App Store later this year.
