Try to turn off (wait 5 sec) and back on iMessage.

No this did not work. What I realy want to do is get her phone number out of my imessage account.
"In imessage under send and receive" you mean in Settings>iMessage>send and receive?
Yes
Are you sure there is no option to delete from there? Are both numbers looks "grey"?
No option to delete. The email addresses give me the option to delete but not the phone number.
Turn iMessage off.
Check your number in Settings>Phone>My Number.
Restart your iPhone
Still there.
Loging out of my icloud account on her phone got ride of my phone number in her imessage. But ultimetly I want to remove her phone number from my imessage avaible send and receive.
I am having the same issue. Apple support have no idea.
This is turning into an epic fail for iMessage. My wifes number has linked to my number when she upgraded to iOS6 now she is getting all my texts - and she's not happy.
Nice if some one could come up with a solution to delete Apple ID from phone and numbers from message settings.
Very frustratiing.
You are using the same Apple ID? If yes:
Try to sign out from iMessage, FaceTime, iTunes & App Stores and delete iCloud account.
Restart your iPhone and sign back in with a new Apple ID that you create in iTunes (on your desktop, go to iTunes Store sign out -if you are signed in- and go to Apps to download Remote. Thats guide you to make a new Apple ID with "none" option in credit card field.) Ones you done use this new Apple ID to sign in to iCloud (Settings>Mails, Contact, Calendars>Add Account>iCloud), to iMessage, FaceTime but NOT in iTunes & App Stores Settings. There you have to use your Apple ID.
Go to Settings - Mail, contacts, calendar - My info and select from contact list your Contact. If you don't have it, make it.
You solved my problem, thank you! I just got an iPhone 5, so my old iPhone 4 is now an iPod for my son - but I couldn't get my texts to stop showing up on the iPhone 4!! I tried your suggestion and it worked perfectly! He can still keep all of my apps, since he's still under my username in the App Store, but I can keep my privacy!!
I was annoyed too, but I did it. Reset all settings.
