Safari crashes when downloading or uploading a file on Windows 7

I have exactly the same error. When I try to upload a file through Safari, it crashes with the runtime error you've written. I've this problem since two days ago. Obviously I could carry on surfing on the internet with another browser, but I don't want lose against Microsoft!

So can we find a solution for this problem?

I have the same error... my girlfriend too. Since and all these updates nothing workes correctly: Siri, Maps, iCloud and Safari for Windows. Apple, I'm very disappointed.

The same problem to me, where is the support from apple?

It seems to send the mail, though the whole application crashes.

I use Apple devices, but have to work also regularly on a Windows 7 machine (Dell Workstation). It is really very very annoying.

Same problem here. Everytime I try to download something from the internet using Safari on my Windows 7-machine it gives this runtime error and closes itself. I don't wanna go back to IE or Chrome.

Same thing happens with iTunes if I wanna import for example a PDF. Buying songs via iTunes works correctly.

So, Apple, please, solve this !

I had a same problem with a safari 5.1.7.

I remember what I update on my PC last and it was iCloud 2.0 and it was this problem. I re-install iCloud 2.0 but problem still continued. If you want no problem with the safari, you must uninstall iCloud 2.0. Unfortunelly.

Thank you very much. I had such problem like up. I uninstalled( removed ) iCloud. And I can download some pictures from internet by Safari. All works! Sorri for my English/

The problem in not only when downloading, also when uploading files. Are you sur you have fixed the uploading problem? for example when attaching files on an e-mail?

But I think that the solution is not removing because I need iCloud to sinc all my devices.

I know that problem was when I upload. Yes I'm sure. I try installed iCloud 2.0 again and crash it again.. Now I can attaching files on an e-mail without a problem.

I can confirm this issue. Up/downloading causes an crash. But it's not necessary to uninstall the iCloud, just log out from your account and every thing is fine.

Well, doesn't seem to be the solution here. Even after log out from iCloud Safari remains crashing when downloading for example an image. The image gets downloaded although...

I've had the same problem for about a month and half now... I don't even use iCloud though? Apple should definitely get in on this - have anybody written directly to their support team? Cause I'd love to know the answer if there is one....

Still the same problem. What seems to work (in Safari on pc), is for example drag an image you want to download outside the window to a folder or your desktop. No runtime errors / crashing ! Also works with text you select in the browser and then drag outside the window to a Word doc.
