Here is what mine says when I enter my serial number and check my coverage:
Repairs and Service Coverage: Active (limits apply)
Your product is covered for eligible hardware repairs and service under AppleCare+.
Estimated Expiration Date: September 20, 2014
Hi,
I purchased IPAD on 19th Sept 2013 and checked warranty coverage on https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
with serial number of the device and observed Repairs and Service Coverage is till 06 December 2013. That is its valid only for 3 months.
As per apple promise it should be valid for one Year. Can anyone help me to find out
1)Why warranty is showing only for 3 months ?
2)Is this device used before ?
3)How to extend the warranty ?
Regards
I don't see them listed here: https://locate.apple.com/my/en/sales/?pt=all&lat=4.210484&***=101.97576600000002
What makes you think they are an authorized retailer?
You will have to take up the issue of getting it replaced with EPI.
If you purchased Apple care, and you follow the terms of the agreement (covered damage) yes.
This is what mine says, so does that mean that I am eligable to get my ipod fixed or will i have to find my own wat to pay it?

I actually sent it in, they sent me an email saying it wasn't covered for it so they're sending it back. I am highly upset, because I thought they did cover it and I wsn't the one who cracked my ipod, so now, I would have to pay to get it fixed. It's also strange becuase I have seen people with worse cracks than my own, but my screen is white, I cannot see but a small portion of it but can fully function. Is that odd? Or normal. Please help! I am very confused.
Yes, you need to purchase AppleCare+ to be able to get a service replacement iPhone if you break yours with a $49 deductible. You only get 2 instances covered.
And how do you know if you got applecare+ and not just apple care.. would it say "
So we dont need to buy applecare+ if we need to get a new iphone?
You don't know what you purchased?
Great! Mine says that too!
Thank you so much, deggie!
Assuming it wasn't damaged by a drop or water exposure or some other accident it will be free.
As I said above, accidental damage from drops or water exposure are not covered.
Sounds like the screen itself, or the logic board, was damaged when it was dropped.
Where did you buy the iPad?
In Malaysia...In EPI Center.
