Canada post email scam and my mac

Hello Everybody,

Today I'm a little freaked, I loaned my macbook pro (2010, OSX 10.6) to my mom to write up some emails. She was checking her email's (hotmail) junk folder and saw this Canada Post email. She clicked both links, but closed them before typing/or presumably downloading anything. I've ran Calmxav through pretty much the entire computer, and all that has come up is a bunch of Heuristic.Phishing.email.SpoofedDomain emlxs(sp?) Are these safe?should I buy Norton? I want to make sure that there is no problem sending out online banking stuff or sending out infected emails to my teacher's pcs for assignments.

Thanks 🙂

Oh also, I have norton 360 Everywhere for my Pc laptop, and desktop, but I can't install it on 10.6 (it needs 10.7) will upgrading To mountain lion (10.8) all my to install it on my mac? And is the full software upgrade in the app store? If that's a stupid question, I'm sorry I'm used to pcs requiring me to spend a hundred bucks or so on upgrading to a new platform...
