Hey, I visited your great site (thanks, that rocks). However, I have long sought a copy of Nettrek. I have found the commercial version, but I'm looking for the shareware file which includes the more basic game, plus the 'Federation' ship model as an 'Enterprise' looking ship (or I guess for the geeks out there, Constellation class. The link on the site does not work however for a down load. Is there any place I might obtain a copy of this game? Thanks!

Ah, I need to find a copy of system 6...all Im stuck with is system 7 and 8, and it wont seem to run nettrek:(

yes I know, my problem is Im on a Windoze (lord help me) as my main computer. While I plan to switch back to mac (thank god, had a g4 up until I bought this gateway, and let me say....it has been like being in prison) next year, but until then I have to use this pile of crap to attempt to find programs. Unfortunally, I cant seem to get anything to work when downloading it and burning it from my Windoze machine. Now, my next attempt will be to hook up one of the old power pc's I got and attempt an old dial up connection. However, I looked for system 6 here and could only find system 7 and up for download. Might you direct link me? Also, does anyone know how compatible system 7 and 8 are with Nettrek, or any older (system 6-down) programs games? I have been reading that all Macintosh systems since 6 can emulate those programs to an extent, but I can't seem to find what that extent is. Thanks:)
