As I'm sure you have heard from many users, the Apple Map for the iPhone is an unacceptable replacement for the Google Maps previously available on IOS prior to 6. Besides the odd directions, most noteably, the time estimation algorithm is awful. Last evening after driving 3.5 hours and deciding whether to take the GWB or not, I was getting a "with traffic" estimate from the program of just 40 minutes. Needless to say, I spent 70 minutes waiting just to CROSS the George Washington Bridge with an additional 20 remaining home. In the past the Google Maps would accurately estimate travel times for various routes and allow me to select the most efficient route. I understand the reasons behind the change, but is there any possability of replacing the Google Maps until Apple gets it right?
