My iPod Status just changed to Preparing for shipment

When the ipod touch 4th gen came out, i bought my 6 year old his own cuz he always wanted to use mine

Apple DID receive complaints for the iPhone 5 because they were shipped out so early, that the glue for the screen was still drying, but it has now been 4 weeks since the iPhone 5 was shipped out. If the iPod touch 5 is not starting to get shipped out tomorrow (1 year anniversary of Steve job's death) then it will be at the end of the month. BUUUUT if it is true that some people's iPod statuses are "shipped" then they could have started to ship them, and will surprise the customers by arriving to our door tomorrow, and they glitches for hiding the "shipped" status. Like if you think this is common sense.

Well, yeah, sometime before christmas.... IN OCTOBER!!!

Can Anyone check their Order status and tell me if you guys have the same problem

mine doing same thing maybe they changing shipping status

I just checked mine and it says the exact same thing o_O Does this mean they shipped?... Who knows ._.

If anything went wrong with our order they should notify us via email. I guess it's just that they are fixing something. maybe changing the shipping status. Who knows D:

P.S. If this error is about credit card issues. which is about 0.00001% to happen. Call 1-800-my-apple and ask for this error. ready your order number too. 🙂

It's back to normal on the West Coast. It may just be due to the fact that everyone is constantly checking there shipping status.

HHi I'm new here and I'm also getting the error message and I'm also on the west coast. But on a different note I went to a Target yesterday and asked when they would be released and the employee said sometime this week but they hadn't heard anything. But what I found curious was that the thing where the iPods are at was covered with paper, so people could not see the iPods.

Well enough is enough.... I pre-ordered Sept 14th. I just canceled my order, going to a real live store where they have product to sell, and pickup a samsung galaxy tab at lunch. I don't need an ipod that bad. Sorry Apple you just lost one! Its obvious Job's is gone. And this is the beginning of the end for apple.
