My iPod Status just changed to Preparing for shipment

Well everyone you must read this, I just got off chat with lady on apple chat, and asked when the iPod touch 5 will be released, she said it can be bought on the apple store now, and will be In shops "very soon" and then she instantly disconnected me. PROOF! "VERY SOON"

Can't say as I blame you. Enough is enough....I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Lots of customers are cancelling. I think if Apple had said something Oct 1st, toss us a bone with a least an estimate we'd all feel confident. Since that was not the case, we have to do what we must.

Because it seems kinda stupid to have $300-$400 that is up in the air and could be charged now or a month from now. If you want games or something like that you can go get a PSvita for $300 right now... or a 3DSXL.

However, I have wanted one of these things for over a year so I am willing to wait a month if I have to. For me, it is worth the wait.

its not up in the air its in your bank until it ships and why does it matter you obviously already planned on spending it obviously because your in this discussion

Who thinks the iPod touch will ship on the anniversary of Steve Jobs?

in malaysia, the apple ipod site says ships in 3 weeks and also says it will be delivered on 1/11/12 by standard shipping....in malaysia ryt now it is 2;08am 5th october (steve jobs nniversary)...in america is is the morning of the 4th so lets wait a day and see what happens to the american site!!!...you can check the malaysian site at any time...feel free and feel hope

Will the iPod ship do tommorrow,due to the passing of Steve jobs? If so i think this is why apple is waiting to tell anyone the exact date?

ive been putting in different addresses to show the estimated delivery dates and it actually changes but mostly showing 31/11/12...so i guess they may actually ship in 3 weeks...ive talked to stores here and they all give me a very confident "soon".....sickening..but oh well i hv no choice but to wait

i just noticed that if you check the malaysian and australian sites the ipod nano 7th gen ships in 2 weeks but the ipod touch 5th gen ships in 3 weeks...unfair!!!

wait.... does it mean it will start delivering on the 14th OR it will be there at your door that day?
