Call forwarding issue in iOS 6

Mine is doing the same. 2 iphone 5's. one restored from backup and the other setup as new. Both show the call forward icon when restarting

Same here. Call forward icon everytime the phone is restarted. Have to go into settings to turn call forward on and then off to get rid of the icon. Small problem but still annoying to have icon on top right of screen!!

Who is everyones carrier?

Both of you try popping out your Sim card

Settings > General > Reset

Reset network settings.

Pop in SIM card

This is the second iPhone 5 doing this for me so resetting I think is unlikely to work

I have the same issue when I restart my iphone 5 I get the call forwarding symbol appear when I've never turned it on. I go to settings and tap call forwarding and then it disapears...simple solution but very annoying, it shouldn't happen!

try to get SIM card replace from your carrier.🙂

I can confirm this seems to be a SIM card issue. I was having this problem on T-Mobile, Apple exchanged my phone and was still the same so went and got a replacement SIM card. All working fine now with new SIM card, no more call divert icon on restart
