I'm having a problem with my IPhone 5 and my Acura TL, where incoming calls via Bluetooth get dropped immediately after answer. Pairing the phone and outgoing calls are fine. I reported it to the Acura HFL customer support line and they were logging mulitple similar issues with the IPhone 5. Does anyone know of a fix or workaround?

I don't think you are going to see Apple providing a fix, as it seems to be the responsibility of the device manufacturers to ensure their devices work with Bluetooth v4 profiles on the iPhone. My vehicle manufacturer provides a list of phones and operating systems their device will work with and provide updates as mobile systems are updated.
After you upadate your phone, you HAVE to delete the phone from our car, and your bluetooth name in your phone. You do that by selecting "forget this device" on your phone. Re pair your phone and all should be well.
Deleted the handsfree link from the phone, deleted the phone from the car, reset the handsfree link to factory settings and still the same problem exists. Very frustrated that Apple cannot fix this and that their support is so clueless about the problem in the first place.
What year and make is your Acura? I have 09 TL and my HF appears to work just fine.
I have a 2005 TL. Problem from what I've read spans multiple years and multiple manufacturers.
Strange I have older Motorola car kit in my miata and with the upgrade everthing works fine. It has the HF profile ver 1. So your issue is the phone drops your call when u answer?
Same issue. iphone 4 worked perfectly well with 2006 BMW and 2013 Acura. However, when I upgraded to the iphone 5 it drops all incoming calls on the Acura (not the BMW). Apple support told me that it was a problem with the stereo in my car and it would need to be addresses by the car dealer. Also, I upgraded to OS 6.02 and that did not solve the issue. Does anyone have additional information on this?
i've already called Handsfreelink and talk to their customer service. They told me the firmware in the HFL unit is not upgradeable or flashable. They said this issue will have to be addressed by apple's iOS update. Looks like they're trying to place the blame on each other. This *****
Remove All phones from your Acura. Check by listing all phones. Make SURE ALL phones are deleted. Delete the Acura from your new phone. Reboot the iphone and repair to the Acura. Do not forget to input the new code the car will give you.
does anyone have a solution for the iphone5 and the rdx 2013. I can not get it to work. I can make a call out with bluetooth but can not answer any calls coming in. HELP!!!!!

This just worked for me go to settings then General>Accessibility> down to Physical & Motor > Incoming calls set to headset.. It worked.
