how do you set up multiple from addresses in mail

on my ipad when I set up email accounts, i can enter multiple addresses in the Email field, separated by a comma, which is located on the keyboard far right, second symbol screen.

On my iphone 5 there's NO COMMA that I can find on any of the three Keyboard screens when you're in the Email field.

What's up with that?

I'm running ios 6 on both devices
