I now know that it is not the software from Adobe, due to the fact that other sw like my HP driver and Word resulted in the same errrors.

Your sugggestion to remove Cooliris did not help.

You also adviced to rebuild my desktop, this seems to me a good solution but

one question about this? HOW can i do this?

I do not know enough about iMac computer to follow this advice, so please let me know how I can do this steps ans hopefully my Imac will work normal again.

The mem test did not give any errors.

But it seems to me that the memory useage is quit high, from my 8 GB of memory, normal free to use is on this moment, (10-25 13:24) 2,85 GB, used is 5,14 GB wired is 981,2 MB , inactive is 2,76 GB and active is 1,42 GB.

Waitng for any help, which is appreciated very much.

to start with the last line, there is 8 GM memory listed, so that is OK.

By the way, the AHT has been running today and did not give any errors.

Hi,

1. I mostly allways restart the computer after the problem ocur.

2. No it is with more SW

3. also with HP driver software Word (for Mac), Firework and Flash

4. Yes Sophos is running on the computer.

The free memory on this moment is 4.19 GB from 8 GB total memory.

This morning, before running AHT it was only 2.85 GB.

I have no idee what is changed this but tjis is the higest I have seen the kast few weeks.

You said that you would try other RAM, but do you realize whre i live?

I live in Amsterdam, Holland and that will make this action impossible I am afraid....

It happens more and more now, and it could be indeed a failure of the memory, I don't know wich one, there

are four dimms installed.😕

I am thinking of replacing them all for four od 4 GB, so I double my RAM and hopefully this

will stop my problems.
