From my Apple TV have disappeared the Movies Icon!!!!!
I cant see the "Movies" icon on the mean menu of my apple TV (2012). this happened today (Oct/4/2012). I leave in Greece!

It`s thr same here in Germany, no Movie Icon only TV Shows. Maybe it is the beginning form Movies in the cloud.
Would be nice if some of the apple support guys respond.
I buyed my Apple tv today and the Movie tab is missing. I live in the Netherlands.
I Updates today and the Movie Button is gone. Next Time i First Check what Happens with the Update before i install it.
Movies are One of the Main reasons why i bought Apple TV.
I want my Icon back.

No movie icon in Switzerland as well.

I live in Sweden and I have the same problem. I called Apple Care and they informed me that this is a problem worldwide. They are working on it an all we can do is wait!
A factory reset and / or reboot wont solve anything Im afraid. Patience!
After a restart of the Apple TV even the new TV series icon is missing.
I am quite sure they are switching the store at the moment to a new concept and while doing this,
the functions are affected by this.
Let's wait and see what surprise Cupertino holds for us, instead of running in circles like chicken and shout for help.
Nevertheless it would have been a bit more professional if there was some kind of error message like: "We are reconfiguring our store for a new Apple TV experience. Movies an more will again be available within the next two hours."
That is what I would have expected from such a premium product.

I can confirm this for Germany, too. Movie icon is back. No TV series icon here at the moment. Sure it will come back soon, also.
My Icon is back too (Sweden). But what is all this talk about an TV series app? I have'nt seen that even before the Movies app disappeared? Is that standard even for Sweden?
