Macbook Pro and very old HP Officejet G55

I bought 2 pc's a year ago and connected it to my very old HP OfficeJet G55 with no problems. I just tried to connect it to my new MacBook Pro and while it found the printer, it won't rprint. Now even my 2 pc's are getting errors when I try to print. Help!

Chek with HP whether they have a driver for that printer compatible with your OS.

Greetings Mel,

Are you on OS X 10.8? If so, it seems that the printer you own doesn't have a full feature driver available from HP.

You'll need to use a third party driver, such as HPIJS.
