Are you using a PC or a Mac ? On a PC Alt-S should get the Store drop-down menu to show at the top of iTunes, on a Mac it should already show as in the screenshot in my first reply on this thread.
thank you it was a big help
Thanks this helped
Thank you!!!! I have searched for this for almost an hour now and finally found out how to access the menu. I am hoping I can sync my info now.
Alt-S didnt work for me, on a PC with Windows 7
Do you see any of the drop-down menus at the top of your iTunes, and if not does control-B get them to show ?
Thank you!
I was going nuts trying to follow their directions.
Thank you so much - this has solved my problem..I have spent over an hour trying to work it out untill I came across your suggestion!

did not help still do not see the face of my iphone on computer screen when I click on the itunes icon
This was SUPER helpful, thank you!!!
Okay, so my computer is authorized and in fact was working with my iPhone 4 until a few days ago - now it will not charge my phone nor will it sync with iTunes when I plug it in. Any ideas?
I cannot get my itunes to sync to my iphone4. It is saying that my computer is not authorized, and I figured that out. The computer now is authorized, it says that it is. But the same error message pops up when I try to sync it. I don't know how to post a discussion, so I am attempting to reply to the original post on this board. Are you familair with this problem? I'm so irritated!! Thank you for your time!
that 'Alt-S' did the trick for me too - but this was sooooo hard to find. Isn't there half a bizillion of us corporate users tied to wintel machines and using iTunes? Shouldn't the default for iTunes be to expose the menu bar? Very strange logic here.....
