Hi All

Got a similar problem, but more so.

Just updated my computer to windows 7. Everything fine, except I have come to a song in iTunes my computer will not play.

It says I have to authorise the song first.

When I try to do that, it tells me I have already authorised 5 computers and can't do any more.

Rubbish, I only have ever had one computer.

So, for some unknown reason Itunes will not let me play a song I have bought and paid for.

Any ideas?

Did you deauthorise your account in iTunes before updating the OS on it ? And have you also reinstalled or updated the OS on that computer in the past without first deauthorising it ? One computer could be using multiple authorisations : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1206

Or you can log into your account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and then authorise the computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420

For that song, was it bought on the same account as the rest of your content ? If it was, and the rest plays ok, then see if this page helps : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389
