HOW DO I RESET IPOD TOUCH AS NEW?

Connect it to your computer. Go to itunes and click on the device. In the summary tab, under version, click restore.

This should work:

1. On your iPod go to "Settings".

2. In settings go to General.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the list of settings.

4. Select "Reset".

5. Select "Erase all content and settings".

This will bring you back to the iOS Installation (After a few minutes.)

For that reset , if you have a 1G or 2G iPod make sure the iPod is connected to a charging source. The erase can take hours.
