My iphone 5 goes "no service".

When my iphone 5 goes out of network, "no service" shows. But the phone doesn't search for network, even if there is, untill I tell the phone to search for network. Why?

It never happen to me before when I am using iphone 1,2,3,4, but all of sudden, it starts on my iphone 5. Check with carrier (HK One2free), and they are fine with their signal and reception and couldn't figure out what's going on. Then I check online, here it is the answer - Apple makes this happened and they don't even fix it yet.

SO, FIX IT. APPLE.....

I am so disappointing now with Apple product, it is getting worse and no customer service....

I'm with Rogers and I got my iPhone 5 on Sunday and for 1 day I had fine LTE and 3 bars, then on the 2nd day I started getting 3G in that same area with 3 bars, then on the 3rd day, it was me switching airplane mode about 10 times a day and I was also getting 2bars and an E where it says LTE usually... The fourth day I had it all the way till now, it's said Searching... So for 4 days stair I had the searching thing.

I went to Rogers, but the guy there just did the hard reboot( witch I told him I already did) then he hands me back the phone and says "take it to apple"

Update 4. After another replacement and lots of calls to Orange (EE). I may of made progress ! Firstly oranges customer service is shocking , the lies I was fed were terrible! What they finally did to make it work was to update my sim settings by text ! Don't ask what it did but I am working for now. What I will say is apple customer service has been pretty good, they went out there way to help ! I personally think there is a problem between the software and the carrier settings ! Keep pushing your service providers they have a responsibility to help you too !

I've had the same problem with 2 - soon to be 3 - new iPhone 5s. I'm with 3 in the UK, and they've been pretty useless. Apple themselves have been very helpful, but it seems like the only fix for this is going to be to wait for 6.0.2.

To my way of thinking its unlikely that the same hardware issue is going to be present in three different phones, unless it really is an inherent problem which would affect everyone. To me, it seems like a software problem...

My iphone 5 goes "no service".
