Electric shock from MacBook Pro while charging only.

I got this painfull shock as if you have been pierce by a needle to your forearms.
The shocks are actually from the screws at the side of the MacBook Pro. You can test it by the following method while the power plug are connected.

1. Extend your forearms and let it touch with the screws.
2. Use a "Test-Pen" and touch all the screws. It will lighted up !! Even the "On" button has it.

You won't get it if the MacBook Pro are running with Batteries.

I have the same problem and get stung all the time. My wife refuses to use the computer. I can also hear a slight hum in the audio output of the internal sound card. I have detected the hum using my Beyerdynamic reference headphones, Zenheisers and speakers. The hum goes away when I have my hands on the case and returns when I take them off. I'm going to the iBox tomorrow and will show these posts and hopefully I'll have this machine replaced.

So far I have had the keyboard replaced due to paint flaking, the machine has died on me due to a faulty logic board, the screen is slighthly bent (similar to this one http://www.appledefects.com/wiki/index.php?title=Image:Macbookprowarp.jpg), screen replaced due to a hair stuck in the sceen and lastly the mag safe cable connector was replaces due to frailing. I was hoping apple would have higher quality products.

As you say, it might have to do with the electric supply but a piece of equipment worth USD 2000 should not give any kind of shock. My wife has a macbook and due to the plastic casing it never gives her any shocks only blisters from the sharp corners of the casing. Rather that though that elcetricity zapping you.
