aperture: finding original
How can I retrieve an original if I deleted the version? I know the image number..... but cannot seem to find the master image (original) any more after deleting the version.

If you delete the last version you will also delete the original (master image). See Frank Caggiano's user tip:
Deleting version also deleted the master

Every master must have at least one version. If you delete the last version in the library, you are deleting the master as well. Unless you emptied the Aperture trash and then the system trash, your image should still be available. Otherwise you need to refer to your backup. You do have a backup, don't you?
Thank you - my only problem is that I cannot open the trash. I have an icom "move to trash", but this cannot be opened. Feel really stupid at the moment! thanks for help
Problem solved! Thank you so much. julia
