I own an iPhone 4 CDMA from Verizon since.. well a while now. My contract ends in a couple of months and I need to save more money. I can no longer afford spending $90 a month for a phone bill. I'm wondering if I would be able to switch this phone to prepaid. Has anyone tried doing this?
It's not possible. Verizon doesn't offer prepaid service for iPhones. An iPhone 4 is a CDMA only phone and can't be used on any of the carriers that do offer prepaid service for iPhones.
This really scks. My iPhone's pretty much worth nothing since Apple made it free with a contract =/
People who aren't eligible to upgrade may still find it worth paying money to you for it. I believe it costs about $350 without a contract.
