Why does my iPad keep throwing me out of apps?

Please can anyone help?

I've closed all apps (by the correct method) and restarted but it's still doing it more and getting more frequent.

This is a recent problem so what's been changed ?

I love my iPad but this is so annoying, especially when I've typed loads and then in a split second lost the lot.....more than once!

My husband has a samsung galaxy and wants me to ditch my iPad for a galaxy too.

I've always lauged at what i believed to be a stupid suggestion and point blank refused but if this continues, probably will!

hello again, I think I might have a new problem?! Perhaps this should be a new post or is it connected?

my ipad is less than a year old, but the Apple store only gave me 3 months warranty as I believe it was probably a refurbished iPad . ( It was a bit cheaper than a brand new one and was a replacement for my original ipad which had been damaged beyond repair out of warranty).

I was about to do the restore and before I started I noticed the battery was only 4% so plugged into the wall.

Although the icon said 'charging' it eventually went down to 1% so I pressed the off and home button until the apple logo appeared.

That was 2 hours ago and I cant seem to get it back on again.

I repeated the pressing of off and home again and saw the battery symbol with a little bit of red in it , but it was showing as plugged in, Now it just stays off, then every now and again the apple logo appears for a few mins, then the battery charging tinkle noise goes off,like ive just plugged it in but thats it.

Any idea how I get it back on? Or shall i leave it overnight and see what happens?

Im wondering, if it was refurbished and the battery was not renewed it might be too old and need replacing?

Any advise gratefully received please.

It's ok, please disregard my last post. I had already tried using another cable with no success but 15 mins ago thought I would try another plug and it seems to have worked.

I can now get to the home screen and after half an hour the battery is up to 8%.

Will leave it overnight now and try the restore tomorrow.
