External links to apps in App Store no longer working

This morning I noticed that external links in AppZapp on my iPad 3 running iOS6 no longer opened the app in the App Store. App Store opens but the page for the specific app no longer comes up. Sometimes if I shut down App Store and then open iTunes on the iPad it starts to open iTunes then changes to App Store and the page for the app I was trying to route to comes up. Also links on the Apple website to specific apps no longer seem to work using Safari. Again the app Store is loaded but it does not continue and load the specific page for the app. Very strange!! It has been working fine until this morning?

Anybody else noticed this issue? Is it me or is it an issue with the App Store?

Before posting my question yesterday I went through all the various resetting and rebooting options and nothing worked.

Yesterday evening I noticed that AppZapp Pro was now working but AppFree HD was not. The links to the App Store in Apple's web pages also refused to work correctly.

This morning AppZapp Pro, AppFree HD and links in Safari all appear to be working as they should be. I did not make any further changes or reset anything else on my iPad 3 running iOS6 so I can only assume that the issue was with the Apple servers rather than a problem within the iPad itself and that overnight it was sorted out.

Thanks to all those people who who contributed with help and advice.
