Since upgrading my iphone 4 to ios6 it doesn't ring for every call and I am getting alot more people diverted to voicemail.
I have tried everything, resetting the phone etc. The DND is switched off.
Researching on the internet and there are quite a few other people experiencing the same problem. Any solutions would be gratefully received.

Thanks for the suggestion, but their is still no sound. I was very hopeful that this suggestion would solve the problem quickly since Ididn't know about the Do Not Disturb feature. I'm sure it will come in handy if I ever get the problem corrected.
There is no sound, period, not when I play Words with Friends, not when I turn on the music player. The sound does play through headphones, including the phone ringing, but I do not spend my life in headphones, nor to I want to make that accomodation to my technology.
I am having this problem too and called Apple about it yesterday. It does seem that since this has been an on-going problem there would be a fix soon. As things are with me now, I can't bank on knowing I have a call or a text unless I look at my phone. My phone worked flawlessly before ios 6 and now it is so hit or miss it isn't too far from not having a phone at all.
I've shelved my plans to buy an iPad.
Apple have renewed my handset because of all same problems and I've still got the same problems. Time they sorted things out
I think it is long past time!
The ringer switch at the upper left side of phone is in the "off" position (red color shows).
