How do I change a Group Name on iPhone?

Same thing has happened to me. The group name is null on mac contacts as well as on the iPhone.

Same for me since last night. Any existing groups have the correct name until I made changes to the group members. Also any new groups sync as "null".

I found I could change the name "null" to a proper group name just by clicking on "null" in the contactc application on the mac. It is then highlighted and you can type in a new name. The new name ends up on the iPhone. Unfortunately, mail on the iPhone doesn't recognize the group name. arggg

I have having the same problem as the OP.

@gregace: You atleast got them showing up on iPhone (albeit not in mail). I guess for us who don't have a Mac don't have that option. When I go to iCloud.com, my contact groups have the right name. No luck with that showing up on the iPhone.

Today I started my first tests with iCloud, contacts, and groups:

- I created a group "group1" and put in "contact1". "group1" is pushed to IOS, content of group is ok, name of group is "null".

- I created a group "group2" and put in "contact2". "group2" is pushed to IOS, content of group is ok, name of group is "null".

Now I have 2 groups with different names in iCloud and with the same name in IOS.

I have contact groups on iCloud. Today I changed a contact's mobile number. I later login to iCloud to see that the contact group name that contact (I changed) belonged to; has now become 'null'. I wonder if Apple has ever tested this before rolling it out. This seems like it is still in alpha...
