iPhone5 iOS6 email issues - missing features

Hi. I recently received my iPhone 5 with iOS 6 and have added an exchange mail account. I have seen many discussion regarding issues with push, but push is working fine for me (so far!). The issue is that I am missing the blue bar across the bottom when in mail, which means I am also missing the button to compose a new mail message. The problem extends to when I am in an email; I am unable to create a Reply message. Has anyone seen this issue? Any suggestions?

I have an iPhone 3Gs & just upgraded iOS 6 and my bar was missing also (could not reply, forward or create email). I turned it off (hold button and slide to off) turned it back on and it is now there again. Hope this helps you.

I had the same issue and resolve it by turning the phone off, and when turned back on the bottom email bar reappeared.

Check if the network you're on is encrypted. Check in your Mail account settings.

still seems to be an issue just had the same issue with Wife's phone. Turned off and on. She has also been having troubles taking calls can hear person on other end but nobody can hear her. Turning off and on fixes this as well.

Also had this issue. On an Iphone 4 there is a sleep mode that you have to kick out of.

For the iPhone 5 one of my users had this problem, I just wish I knew how he did it.

To fix it I went to Reset All Settings. He did not lose any of his email, calendar, or Contact settings and all appears to be well again.
