iTunes won't sync my music, movies, ringtones... Anything!

My iTunes pretends like it finished syncing successfully. However, none of my media (songs, videos, ringtones, books) ends up on my iPhone.

When I click on my iPhone (in iTunes) or shows all of the files that are supposed to be there. However, they are all greyed out and have a little icon with arrows going in a circle next to them.

What's worse is that my iTunes treats my iPhone as if that data space is already full, and shows me that my phone is nearly full even it is actually quite empty.

I was having this exact same problem on mu iPhone 6 Plus, running iOS 10. 😮 I know problem still hasn't been fixed after all these years but I did fix it. From what I understand disabling iCloud Library and manually selecting the songs no then off would work, but none did for me. The issue for me actually begun after restoring from an unwanted update. This started to make my device have a few wierd problems like the notifications showing no info and apps not updating when there was an update available, aswell as not sycning my with itunes. It turns out if this happens you have to reset your phone. I restored mine to an even older backup and that worked for me, but I reset through the phone and not iTunes.
