Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hi,
Recently upgraded to iPhone 5 from iPhone 4.
Now phone keeps getting stuck in 'No Service', where there clearly is signal. If I go in and out of airport mode it picks up the signal fine.
I have tried resetting network settings.
Can somebody let me know if this is either...
1 - a hardware issue and I should start chasing Apple for a replacement?
2 - a software issue that will get fixed in some future update?

I have same issue....My phone was working fine for 2 days and suddenly the network lost and says no service. I am on vodafone network...
DELETE 8 BALL POOL IF YOU HAVE IT IN YOUR IPHONE 5 ! I have been having this same "NO SERVICE" problem since 3 weeks ! deleting this app fixed it !! try it ! i had this problem on my iPhone 5 32GB.
I have the same issue and it is still not resolved with the latest update - iOS 6.1.3. I have restored several times with iTunes and the problem still persists.
I had the same problem of signal dropping. I swaped the phone but the new phone worked well for a day and than started showing the same problem. taking a clue from the above post i am deleting 8ball pool and see if it helps. will keep u guys posted.
Tried this and didn't work for me.
I am on iOS 7 Beta now and the issue has disappeared. My phone is now working ok.
