Convert Amount in Numbers into Amount in Words

I mostly solved this but the Numbers doc is on my computer at home. I will post back pater this evening. I know the solution was not a single cell solution so I will also review how possible that is.

Here is a Numbers document with my previous work. It will take some work to adapter to be useful for you purposes but does show *A* way to do this. I think a substantial rewrite is necessary to make it generally useable...

I saw your file and it works beautifully. However I would like to change the cents into words as well. How to change the formulae?

For example, 5000.56 = Five thousand and fifty-six cents only

200.90 = Two Hundred and Ninety cents only

Hope you can help out with my work.

I guess solution was great for older versions of numbers.

I tried to used this file in newly updated version 3 - and there are only errors.

I did not understood what needs to be fixed.

Has anyone did it?

I will look at how to use an Applescript to perform the conversion but I cannot get to it right now.
