My ipad is stuck with the msg, icloud backup, this ipad hasnt been backed up in 2 wks. I have charged, locked and connected to wifi and the msg will not go away and I can not use my ipad. Pls help

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons
