Apple screws Ipad 3 customers with iPad 4

Just sold my iphone4s yesterday, i already planned to buy an ip5 but i decided to buy an android phone :)

I have my Xperia now and Im very satisfied and happy, all the time I'm blind on apple devices

This is what my observation

Camera is way too much better

Bigger screen

Micro sd slot

Hdmi

Can customize homescreen even message app

Better speakers

So much free apps

Plus!!! Water, dust and scratch resistant. :)

I already made a promised to myself not to buy any apple products in the future.

My Outdated New Ipad will be my last fruit :)

Nice phone range the Xperia ,i now have done the same and opted out of the upgrade to iphone 5 & i have the S version that can record video in 3D ,has 12 megapixel camera and as you say you can use it to youre hearts content with out any restrictions.The battery on these s versions are not great but makes up for it in many many other ways..I felt very clostraphobic with the apple range, it didnt allow me to do what i wanted to do ie. download from 3rd partys on the web ect..That aside i was going to buy the ipad mini like many others, just to give it a try despite the restrictions and be up to date.Not that i class it as a must have accessory and need to keep up with the jones's as we say in the UK. But alas thats gone back in time technolagy wise , not forward so no inavations on that score..Yes people say android phones ,tablets ect. come out thick and fast but we already know this as its not any big secret unlike the ipad 4 was , It doesnt come as a shock to those who bought what they thought was the latest & greatest apple has to offer.Then a few days or weeks after you bought it to then find its been dropped completley is hard to swallow in apple terms so soon after it was released .They really rocked their own boat over that ipad mini and even said mockingly the competition failed miserably and they have got it right..What have they got right that the others have not??.Theyre using and out of date proccessor ,display ect ect ect and it costs more too.They slag Samsung off but who made/supplied a big chunk of the retina display or did i should say for the ipad 3rd gen,Yes that very company did.So this is somthing to chew over & of my own opinion and out look on the subject.We are allowed to air opinions i guess?? lol .

Hi wayne i agree with you, they secretly cooking ipad 4 behind ipad mini, and now im still thinking why apple did that?

Btw, if you have a brand new xperia S , battery drains quickly at the first time use but after a couple of charge cycles it will improve.

Less than a year? Its all given and we all know that almost every month there is new android device available in the market. Like samsung they released the galaxy tab 2 10.1 but they announced that theymwill release galaxy note 2 10.1 with higher and better specs.

Galaxy tab have diff variants and also they have different specs, and they drop the price of their tablet when there is a new one coming (take note: they are cutting price before the release of the new models).

Unlike apple did to us, they are selling ipad 3 with the same price even on a minute before thet announce ipad4. i was so sad when i heard that announcement, Im so excited about the new ipad mini but all of a sudden then they revealed the iPad 4.

Sorry for the late SJ, but now I dont trust apple anymore.

Yes the phone is new and as you quite rightly pointed out it will get better with further charges...Youre perfectly right their are quite a lot to choose from, but if people do theyre home work first and find the one that fits what you want it to do then you cant go wrong. Thats part of they enjoyment for me doing the investigating and so on, then making my decision..One word of advice dont go for the cheap imports or one's dare i say it!! that dont support that google play store.I must admit i like the competitors tablets, we got expandable memory ,flash and so on, and would you believe it !! the very same apps as on app store but some cheaper & by the same developers including the premium ones too.Granted they come out first on IOS and you might have to wait a few weeks for the android version. The experiance is a totaly more chilled & relaxed atmosphere,theirs no secrets or closed firmware. You can get into developing and modify youre device in any way you choose,the files for the operating system are there for you to see and not hidden, If you naff it up just reinstall the firmware its freely available to get from off the manufacturers websites or the forums..Thats part of the learning curve and the enjoyment i guess .See their is life after apple after all, but they dont want you to know that lol , as i found and many others in the same boat as us will do too.But we paid a heavy price this time and no doubt lessons will be learnt ,and by that i mean not just us the customers , this includes apple too..

I am also suffering with the same situation . I also purchased the iPad 3 two months ego . Apple have to replace our iPad 3 with iPad 4....

Tim cook is not the right person who disobey the rules of GREAT SJ . Sj never disappointed their customers like this .

Well its plain to see apple dont give a stuff, if they did they would of responded by now. But their again why wpuld 5hey respond, they have got our hard earnt cash so basicaly we no longer matter any more...

Does anyone think Apple cares about the fact that I purchased my so called new iPad in June and now it isn't available any longer? Just cancelled my iPhone 5. Motorola Droid Razr M, just as small, just as fast, more applications, and $150.00 less. Apple just lost me, not a koolaid drinker any longer.

i get the impression that no they dont care..I also heard apple are going to struggle to get all the screens for the ipad 4 & mini ipad as Samsung has terminated the contract early on the screens they supplied for them.Samsung supplied a percentage of them but the suppliers that provide the rest wont be able to turn up production straight away if at all..

I have had a few adverse comments to my posts too, but soon shoot them down so dont worry about it matey..What they dont like is people having their say and try to defend apple no matter what.Well leave them to it they will wake up one day and see the light,or not as the case may be.Always remember you have the freedom of speach and no one can take that away from you.You have youre own mind so speak it..
