Memory hog is now under control w/ 10.0.6!

So far after 8 hrs of use, 10.0.6 is able to control its RAM allocation. Prior to 10.0.5, a 1080p AVC-I prj literally eats up all available system RAM. Now, I see it only takes about 5.5-6 Gb w/ OSX Lion. This is a significant bug fix that didn't get documented somehow. Has anybody else noticed the improved RAM handling?
