I suspect you "may" have a height problem, the standard drive for your computer is 9.5mm's in height. That drive is 10.16mm's high. Can't say for certain though.
This is a 9.5 mm drive, so yes, it will fit. There are only two standard sizes for laptop drives, 9.5 mm and 12 mm thick (high). In this case 9.5 mm = 0.374 in which rounded off to one decimal becomes 0.4 in.
Am writing this on a 2.33 15" MBP with the said drive.
Drive is very quiet and fast. Very happy with purchase.
Would you mind posting some benchmarks? This drive seems pretty scare--I can barely find retailers selling it, let alone any reviews or benchmarks.
