Well, I have been Newtured so to speak. I have become a Newton guy, but I am stuck and I do not know what to do. I purchased a Lucent WaveLAN Bronze Turbo Wifi Card (P/N: 011498/A) and I am unable to get it to wirelessly connect to the internet. I have all the required packages installed and the Newton regocnizes the card no problem, yet when I use NetHopper to connect, an error occurs when contacting the DHCP Sever. Does any Newton user know how to solve this problem? Help would be most appriciated. Thanx!

Ok -
1. Have you checked on the wikiwikinewt that your card is one of the ones that Hiroshi's driver works with? I presume you have got the wi-fi driver?
2. Have you tried connecting using a manual setup rather than DHCP? I find that sometimes if one way doesn't work then the other will.
3. I found that a Lucent card would not work with my router (Netgear) but when I changed to a Netgear wi-fi card I had no problem.
