Short interference (snow like) Mac Mini i7 (Late 2012)

My brand new Mac Mini has a strange error which i have never seen on any computer. At rare intervals my monitor shows a short (1 sec) interference. During this brief moment my apple cinema display shows 'multi colored snow'. It looks like the 'snow-interference' on old school tv's, but these speckles are in black, white AND red, green & blue.

I've got a cinema display connected through the provided Apple HDMI-DVI converter. The display itself never showed any interference on my old mac mini.

Does anyone experiences the same problem?

or.. does anyone has a clue what's happening here?

Cheers,

Bruno

I'd agree that you will never see a load of people saying its fixed, all you can go by is a lack of people going its broke, and I'd not base anything on two people, it could be pretty much anything causing their problem.

For what its worth, I was seeing this problem on my dual Dell DV setup every couple of days, but since the 11th Dec when I applied the patch, not a single reocurrence.

If you search heard enough for problems then you'll probably find a few in any device like this, but apart from that one issue I've had no problems at all with the mac mini and I have all sorts of stuff hanging off mine.

They have a good return policy, just go get one and you'll be fine. 🙂
