It would be a breach of Apple's Terms of Use (for this forum) for anyone to attempt to discuss why this has happened, interesting though it is.

SJ was not God. If SJ was running the show right now you wouldn't be blaming him. If somebody at apple screwed up they will learn from it and do things the right way. Is that not the way we all learn, from our mistakes. You're welcomed.

You are over reacting in my opinion. Apple is not doing anything wrong , in fact they are doing us all a great service by working towards providing us a new improved iTunes that is as issue free as possible. I think that is the mature and proper path. Apple I am sure wants to minimize any and all disappointments that has tainted it and users as of late - aka Maps.

I don't even know why they have it on their website if its not available. I mean, they go all in depth talking about it and how it will be here in October, then on the last day, they say that it'll come out in November.

Why not just put coming soon or something. When Apple says the iPad is just as stunning twice as fast, it MIGHT be.

Could not have put it better my self we all make mistakes and I am sure apple want to launch it without errors and I don't think it's a bad thing to delay and would not worry about apple I don't think it will hurt them at all and there were things that went wrong under Steve job so don't worry it will be out when they feel its right dose not change my opinion on apple at all

I know how you feel, my son and I have really been looking forward to this new version, it does look stunning but wouldn't you rather download an iTunes that is as issue free as possible?

You are not alone my friend, I am certain many of us feel a little let down and maybe you are right about labelling it as coming soon but I guess we would all be wondering, how soon is soon? One can never win these things but soon we will have a new itunes and with very few issues we should expect.

Such is life sometimes but I think Apple really wants us to be happy with the new iTunes not disappointed.
