Does the iPad 2 have a hard drive ? And when things are deleted from camera roll (like videos and photos) are they copied and then deleted, do they actually get saved somewhere or kept by the IPad 2 ?

No, the iPad 2 (like all iPads) has flash memory. Here are its specs: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP622
When things are deleted, they should be considered unrecoverable.

Jimmy. Seriously. Stop it. You've been asking essentially the same question for days. The answer will not change. Whatever you had on the iPad that you deleted is gone. You aren't going to get it back. You should do yourself a serious favor and deal with the consquences of the lose (whatever they may be). Posting here isn't going to change reality.

Actually, not incredible at all. 🙂 I was attempting to make a point. I thought by referring to previous posts in which the OP's questions were addressed, he might understand that repeated posting was not going to help.
