Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My status on the Apple site stated that my iPad has been shipped on the 27th
They have given me a tracking number that didn't work with UPS.
I contacted UPS, they said the number Apple gave me was more like a 'reference number' as
tracking numbers start with 1Z and are 18 digits long.
Can anyone advise, would be much appreciated.

Great!,i think most people would get theirs before noon,,hopefully,i'm sittng tight till mine comes..:)
I think this year they shipping from the relevant countries rather than china..
i think they shipped from china though coz if look on the original email it said shipped 27th and apple representative i spoke with kind of hinted that meant overseas
All their U.S. shipments are done by Fedex.
Apple does not use fedex they will use UPS for everything.
