What is unnecessary in Activity Monitor?

Hi

After going through my activity monitor I noticed a bunch of items I have no idea what they are. I would like to get rid of them if they are useless and/or some type of bug in my computer.

How can I figure out what needs to be kept and what can be deleted?

Thank You

Hi Zyriab

In response to your reply, would the below statements be accurate?

Without seeing or knowing anything about my AM, I don't have anything there that shouldn't be there that could be potentially slowing down my system and/or a virus. Additionally, there are not any programs running that I don't want to be running.

If not, please help me to understand your original reply.

Thank You
