Export a click track so it can be used in Pro Tools?

We are recording soon with a guy who uses pro tools but i've done all the addictive drums with midi in garage band - Exporting the files is fine as .aif or mp3 / aac etc but how can I get him the click track so he can import it into pro tools?

GarageBand doesn't' export the Metronome as an audible click sound. You have to create a separate Track. Use a MIDI Track with a drum machine and record a bar with four quarter notes and loop them.

Now export that (soloed) track as a separate aiff file. Important is that it has to have the exact start time (and tempo of course) as your other exported tracks. Then you you lay it in in ProTools and line it up to your other drum export files. That's it.

Hope that helps
