LTE not available on LTE enabled network in Belgium (Belgacom)

I was very excited about the opening of the first public LTE network in Belgium by the carrier Belgacom.

This carrier runs LTE on 1800MHz which is supported by my european iPhone 5.

Apparently Apple blocks access or is not willing to provide a carrier settings update for us to access this LTE network?

Can you all please stop getting worked up about it?

The 4G network has only become available since 1 week.

Mobistar is supposed to officially launch its 4G network in the coming weeks, and even Base should follow in the next months.

As mobistar is the official partner I can imagine they'll put a carrier update for others in their general setting with a next release (after christmas) so that their partner has the edge over the all important holiday sales period :-) That's just business I guess.

No need to ***** about it...
