Well, it was 7 a.m. over here, Netherlands that is. Thats quite a time difference for a speedy discussion. Sounds like an interesting production you're involved. Tibetan chants and Melodyne, wish I could participate…….. Are you the producer too?
Anyways I'm very interested in the final results!
Back to the BIP story..............
In citation of the book 'Logic Pro 9 Advanced Music Production' :
Bouncing in Place
New to Logic Pro 9 is the ability to bounce both regions and tracks " in place", or in their
original position on the timeline. This is extremely useful for "rendering" or creating a
version of the data with all channel strip processing applied, saving CPU resources. Logic's
Bouncing in Place features provide a great deal of flexibility when producing the new file,
enabling you to bounce the channel's audio signal with or without plug- ins, effect tail, and
volume and pan automation.

My workflow goes like:
a) Select the destination track for the bounce;
b) Select the source track/region - right click - and in the contextual menu you'll find the option Bounce in place under <Bounce and Merge> (KeyCommand ctrl B);
c) now you get presented with a few options in a window, make your choice and of you go.
After this feature was introduced my production rhythm changed considerably to the good of my clients and me.
Let me know if this needs some more clarification.
