iPad without month-to-month contract

I want to buy an iPad but I'm really confused. I'll buy an AT&T one but I don't want to do the moth-to-month contract because I'll use it out of the USA. Will I have to pay more for an iPad without contract or I can pay the same price but don't buying the month-to-moth contract?

If you get the GSM (AT&T) version of the iPad in the US, it is not locked to AT&T, so you can use it with any carrier anywhere in the world that offers a compatible data plan. Any cell service is completely between you and the carrier and is set up after sale. AT&T does not subsidize the price of any iPad, so there is no price difference from Apple even if you never sign up for cell service at all.

Okok...so, in the site appears when I click to buy "6 or 12 month special financing options". So, If I don't do this 6 or 12 month special financing the price won't change?

You will of course pay interest if you elect to finance the purchase of an iPad , so yes, the price will have "changed" in that respect since your net cost will be Apple's standard price plus the interest you will pay (as well as any sales taxes). But that has nothing to do with any contract with a cell carrier.

Again, if you have questions about financing, payments, etc. I would suggest you call the Apple Store. These forums are for technical support, not for questions about pricing, product availability, finance charges or other pre-purchase questions not of a technical nature. Most of us users will do our best to help, but there's a limit to the information we can provide, and we've hit that limit. If you have further questions about purchasing an iPad, call the Apple Store.

I just realized now that this 6~12 moth special financing options is about the iPad price, thanks! I was thinking that this 6~12 was about the AT&T plan,

Which is why it's called "financing", not "cell service". 😉

so, it's not obrigatory do a AT&T plan and just pay the price of the ipad, yep?

As I said in my first post, there is no requirement for a contract of any sort with an iPad purchased in the US.
