Song sounds rubbish after bouncing ....:(

Hi Guys,

I work on logic 9 which is installed on my white backbook (late 2009) . I don't have a sound card to begin with and have hooked up my Motif to use Logic plugins and other AU instruments , I don't record any live instruments or vocals.

The song sounds perfect when played as a logic project however after bouncing , the MP3 file seems to sound utter rubbish on itunes...

I know i'm bouncing my track correctly so I'm scratching my head wondering what the issue is ...

P.S. - The song contains no live instruments, no vocals ...

Cheers,

Gaggy

Hi Seeren,

Appreciate the revert .... Nah.. That doesn't seem to be the case ... The drums sound all sparkled , thin and amplified (high's mostly) .... Is there an issue with the bit rate or maybe the sample rate ..??

I hope this has nothing to do with me not having a sound card .. ??? ....:O

We don't have that information. The only thing we have is:

I know i'm bouncing my track correctly

Make sure the output channel never clips... although I wouldn't describe the results of that as sparkled & thin - adjectives mean different things to different people. To be sure, check it by listening to it just in Finder, you can also import it into Logic.
