Yes, does that make a difference? (If I could afford to shell out I'd just get a new macbook!)
I'm not concerned about the 'non branded' part, I just want to make sure that's the right model.
You are making a foolish choice, Macs are extremely picky with Ram. In many cases they just won't run with cheap Ram but it's up to you.

Buy the Ram from OWC (preferred choice) or Crucial (2nd best), no-one else. OWC test and guarantee that their parts will work correctly and are (in my opinion) the best. Crucial rely on other peoples testing but are generally reliable.
In either case you can trust their recommendations, and the spec you posted is correct.
