Update: There are two ways to contact support:
1) using the web interface here:
http://www.apple.com/support/contact/
2) emailing them directly. The trick is you need to know the correct email.
The first option was not very helpful. They just gave me answers that seemed like they had simply done a cut and paste from the FAQ. When I asked for more specific information pertaining to my actual question I got more of the same cut+paste anwers.
The second option is better. There I sent an email to "podcasts at apply dot com" and got back this response today:
"We are experiencing a known submission error. We are working to resolve this asap and appreciate your patience."
This confirms what Rob W had said above. So we are still waiting for a fix from Apple, but we know what's wrong.
I also thought it would be helpful for others to know what the best way to contact customer service is for those of us who know how to RTFM 🙂. Part of that solution is this discussion board which is great!
I'll post again once the issue actually gets solved by Apple.
